All teachers and substitutes are reading the Bluebonnet Award winning book, Ratscalibur to all Hamilton Junior High students today. Each class period, a certain section of the book is read aloud to our students. By the end of the day, the whole book will be read. Teachers are modeling good reading and showing students the importance of reading to adults and students.

Brady Taylor, meteorologist for KWTX in Waco, visited Hamilton Junior High today. He gave a thirty minute presentation with slides about different kinds of weather in Texas. Students were then allowed to view the Weather Edge, a modified car used by the weathermen to monitor weather in Central Texas. Click on the headline to see more pictures.
